摘要
The present paper contains a brief description of the device and the principle of operation and discusses the results of test of the electron gun used and the results of measuring the small signal gain coefficient and the density of the energy stored in the active medium as functions of various parameters of the amplifier. It contains a discussion of the energy of the amplifier within the range of nanosecond pulses with particular emphasis of the advantages of operating at pressures higher than the atmospheric pressure.
