摘要：
The lateral instability of twin-girder bridges with slender aspect ratios stiffened by cross girders is discussed. The effects of both initial imperfections and the local deformation at the connection of cross girders on the ultimate strength are estimated. The strength curves expressed by a function of such an appropriate slenderness parameter as defined by the simplified layered beam analogy of twin-girder bridges are proposed for both welded and rolled girder bridges.
