High dynamic response, configuration freedom, convenient user interfaces, and diagnostic facilities are demands that it has been impossible to satisfy simultaneously in the past. The fully-digital SIMADYN D control system with the STRUC configuration language can handle the job The system was selected by Dillinger Huttenwerke AG for cycloconverter control of a twin drive 5.5-m plate rolling stand.
