摘要
Having called the architecture of current computer systems into question, the author proposes a novel solution: the Edelweiss system based on the EXEL programming method. This is a multiprocessor structure permitting optimum exploitation of the latest low-cost technologies (LSI, bubble memories, CCD, etc. ). Simulation and models have enabled this architecture to be validated and its effectiveness to be demonstrated.
