摘要
The author examines one of the Reynolds differential equations transformed to an orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system which relates the components of the velocity vector to a longitudinal pressure drop in the case of a two-dimensional uniform flow. In the investigated case the axis x//1 is directed along the flow and does not have curves, s and n are curvilinear coordinate axes located in the cross section of the flow, the s coordinates being directed from the boundaries of the flow and the n normal to them. The use of curvilinear coordinates and Reynolds differential equations makes it possible in a number of cases to calculate the characteristics of two-dimensional fluid flows and on this basis to improve hybrid modeling for increasing the reliability of solving practical problems.
