The EDS-2100 engineering work station is described that integrates schematic entry, logic simulation, fault analysis, and test generation, as well as physical layout and design verification. The work station takes advantage of a 32-bit central processor in order to perform complex analyses and on a versatile color display to generate drawings and waveforms. Moreover, the EDS-2100 not only has a heavy lineup of filing and communication facilities for planning, managing, and documenting projects, but also fits extremely well into a department-wide network.
