摘要
A system using nitrifying bacteria to restore regenerant brine was studied. Exhausted clinoptilolite was regenerated with a 0. 3 N NaO//3 brine, which was subsequently nitrified by a suspended growth of nitrifying bacteria. The same recycled brine was used for 43 cycles under varied conditions of flow rate and pH with no fouling or permanent loss of exchange capacity.
