STUDIES ON ELASTO-PLASTIC BENDING AND SHEAR OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS WITH VARIOUS SECTIONS.

摘要
A general method for the non-linear analysis of singly and doubly reinforced concrete beams with various sections, i. e. , rectangular, T- and I-sections, subjected to bending and shear is presented herein. The method, which is an extension of the elasto-plastic beam theory, is applicable to the estimation of the values of diagonal cracking load, ultimate load and deformation of the beams. It is shown that the presented method is more convenient for the analysis than the finite element method.
