摘要
The processing behaviour is considered from a rheological point of view, showing that interesting results can be obtained when using a Mooney viscosimeter operated at various rotor speeds, from which can be concluded on the behaviour under processing conditions as opposed to the usual standard test method. A method is discussed for determining so-called shear stress-rate os shear ″hysteresis″ curves, which above all determines the decomposing behaviour of elastomers subjected to mechanical and thermal stresses. The results are discussed in view of the influence exerted by the elastomer structure.
