摘要：
The United States Federal Government and the mining industry have developed techniques for draining methane from coalbeds prior to the start of underground coal mining operations. Degasification ahead of mining is done in an attempt to increase productivity. This paper examines this technology, giving a range of coal analysis. Typical geophysical logs showing methane desorption values are given.
