The description of the thermodynamic properties of mixing by the thermodynamic adapted power series and the regular associate model is presented. Both models are used to give a concentration and temperature dependent description of the mixing enthalpy of the liquid systems Fe-V and Fe-Ti and to calculate the Gibbs energy, the mixing entropy, the partial Gibbs energy, the activity coefficients and the activities. The activities calculated are in good agreement with the available literature data and confirm the experimental values of the mixing enthalpy and the thermodynamic functions derived.
