摘要
The article illustrates the benefits of district heat in relation to energy saving from cogeneration, the use of refuse combustion and industrial waste heat and shows its environmental compatibility and security of supply. It discusses the effects of the drop in oil prices on district heat supply with special emphasis on the use of coal in heat power plants. It shows that the use of nuclear energy is necessary and that decentral congeneration plants are no alternative to power generation in large power plants.
