摘要：

The effect of reserve equipment (transformers) on the operating efficiency is considered. This effect has to be taken into account in designing electric power supply systems when reliability is not ensured according to the accepted scheme. Calculation formulas are presented for the determination of the number of defective transformers undergoing or awaiting repair.
