摘要：
The log-point representation is an alternative to floating point. Whereas floating point combines linear and logarithmic scales, log point is purely logarithmic. It maintains a constant precision over its range, thus minimizing the accumulation of round-off error. Log-point characteristics are demonstrated and compared to floating-point, and a Forth implementation of a log-point word-set is provided.
