摘要
An electrodeless plasma generator (plasmatron) has been developed and investigated. The discharge is maintained by capacitive currents and has the form of a column on the axis of the discharge chamber. The working frequency is 150 MHz and the power is a few kilowatts. The plasmatron is distinguished by the small loss of heat from the discharge zone, by the high stability of the latter in an intense flow of gas, and by its ability to operate using inert or molecular gases.
