摘要
This paper treats the influence of the torsional rigidity of the stiffeners on the buckling stability of a thin rectangular plate with simply supported edges. The plate is subjected to normal longitudinal stresses, variable linearly in both directions, and shearing stresses, variable parabolically only in the transverse direction, acting in the middle plane of the plate. The problem is formulated uniquely by a fourth-order partial differential equation with the prescribed Navier's boundary conditions.
