A set of nomograms is provided for evaluating the flow parameters while using differential pressure flow metering devices like nozzles, venturi tubes and orifice plates in compressible flow conditions. A typical design case is analyzed to select an orifice diameter and a suitable pressure transducer. The discussion shows the flexibility and the ease of use of the nomograms.
