An algorithm for an automated processing of holographic interferograms of Kh18N9-n steel cylindrical shells in a three-hologram two-exposure experiment on studying displacements is discussed. The procedure it possible to formalize the process of selection of the type of a nonlinear mathematical model and to speed up subsequent calculations. The accuracy of the interpretation of holographic interferograms by this procedure is analyzed using as an example the results of an axial compression test of a cylindrical shell with a non-flat end face. The results obtained by the proposed procedure and by conventional methods are shown to be in fair agreement.
