Proceedings include 270 papers. Some the many themes of the Congress are: user requirements and the built environment; impact of research on design-trends in building materials; design of load-bearing and fire resistant structures; new techniques in concrete and reinforced concrete; new techniques in light-weight construction; building types; impact of research on the management process; construction scheduling; standards and regulations; impact of information development on building; sponsorship of research; and future development of building research. Most of the papers are presented in English. Some papers are in French.
