The main theme of this article is practice-oriented sales planning for district heating. This section of the report is part of a total concept which includes profit planning, expenses planning, investment planning, financial planning and results planning as components. This planning framework forms the basis for integrated corporate planning. It covers all areas and branches of a company. The platform for computer aided planning is the statistics and data bank, where all data relevant to planning is stored for recall.
