Excitation of a Core Through Randomly Distributed Extrinsic Currents.

The paper proposes a rigorous solution to the problem of excitation of an ideally conductive core through a random distribution of extrinsic currents found by means of vector eigenfunctions. The solution is applied to the case of core excitation by an electric meridonal dipole and circular finite-width slot. The computation results are given.
