摘要：
The results of a numerical analysis of free convection about a permeable horizontal cylinder are presented. The region within which boundary-layer equations hold is defined. The results show how the heat transfer coefficient changes upon gas injection or suction. An expression for calculating the heat transfer coefficient is presented.
