Flocculation, Clarification and Thickening: New Technologies and Equipment.

Clarifying and thickening of very difficult suspensions has improved by optimized application of flocculation technology. Special high capacity thickeners take advantage of the better settling of the flocculated particles and colloidal material, by giving high cost savings. Lamella clarifiers offer large clarifying areas at reduced clarifying volumes for even large volumes of water feed. In combination with specially designed thickeners, the separated flocculated particles are concentrated and strongly thickened.
