摘要
IT professionals are approaching the inevitable conclusion that the biggest constraint on productivity in systems development lies not in tools or technology, but in human issues such as individual empowerment, teamwork, and interpersonal communications. It is shown that Kathy Kolbe's conative methodology can benefit an IT system development team by giving managers real power to align a team along a common path. Eastman Chemicals experience with the Kolbe Index is presented to illustrate the benefits gained.
