This conference consists of fifty papers in the plenary sessions and forty-seven papers in the invited sessions. Plenary session topics were: energy needs and resources; the fuel cycle; siting, environmental impact, safety and protection; nuclear energy economics; operating experiences with light and heavy water reactors; and operating experiences with other types of reactors. Invited session topics were: licensing and regulation; fusion; special applications; enrichment methods; financing and insurance; and education and public information. A special session on breeding is included. Selected papers are indexed separately.
