摘要
A new optical sensor, based on a fiber Bragg gratings, is discussed. It has low susceptibility to temperature variations and offer an approach to relay protection in electric power system and other applications that do not require high-accuracy measurements. Fiber Bragg grating sensors are based on the principle that the wavelength reflected from grating changes when the structure is stretched or compressed.
