摘要
The paper presents a summary of published investigations dealing with the effects of systematically varying the niobium level on the microstructure and toughness of weld deposits in C-Mn microalloyed steels. It is shown that the results of the various studies can be rationalized into sensible behavioral patterns, and an improved model is proposed to explain qualitatively the various metallurgical effects of niobium.
