摘要
In order to rise the laser output power and make the laser structure compact, a RF-excited packed waveguide CO2 laser had been studied experimentally. The working medium is a gas mixture CO2:N2:He:Xe=1:1:3:0.05. When the dimensions of two packed waveguides are both 1×14.5×200 mm3 and the discharge frequency is 99MHz, the maximum output power of 75 W and the maximum electro-light conversion efficiency of 10.8% are obtained. This simple structure laser has a single peak beam output at the far field.
