NEW METHOD FOR LOAD FLOW STUDIES.

The method is characterized by accuracy, simplicity, speed, and adaptation of sparse-matrix techniques. The paper discusses the exact expression for power mis-matches and the approximations inherent in solutions of some of the well-known methods. Results of the study on a network, that could not be solved by some other methods, are given as evidence of accuracy of proposed method. The network solved is a 43-bus network. The presented solution converged, to a maximum power mis-match of 1 MW/MVAR, in two iterations only.
