Application of adhesives broadened largely. Today almost any materials could be glued with each other. There does not exist any universal adhesive. For each material a special adhesive must be selected. Plastics have various effects on polychloroprene adhesives properties. Joints glued by anaerobic plastics are winning competition in machine part manufacture against other type of joining and fastening techinques including welding and brazing.
