Comprehensive operations and maintenance facilities, including day-to-day supervision of exchange operation and fault detection and correction, are built into the ITT 1240. By combining these features with an ITT 1290 operations and maintenance center, it is possible for an Administration to optimize its operations and maintenance activities.
