摘要
Improvement of the formability of materials is achievd by appropriate microstructure modification. The large number of effects stemming from production processes on microstructure and the many interrelations between material processes and structure mandate computer assistance. It is shown in this paper how two tools of information technology - computer simulation and expert systems - have been used successfully in the development of a ferritic chromium steel with improved formability.
