摘要
With just one tuning coefficient, a process-model-based controller (PMBC) can incorporate the nonlinearities observed in liquid flow systems due to friction losses and value characteristics and can remain accurate over a wide operating range. Compared with QAD-tuned proportional integral (PI) controller, PMBC can perform both serve and regulatory action more efficiently. Other favorable features of PMBC include nonlinear decoupling, feedforward and feedback action and provision of process diagnostic information.
