Numerical evaluation of the integrals of the form 0∫1(xα lnβ x)P(x)dx where P(x) is a polynomial function on 0 &le x &le 1, is considered. Gaussian type integration is developed. A reliable method for obtaining accurate abscissas and weights is presented. The values of abscissas and weights for α = 0 and β = 1 are given in Appendix A.
