摘要
By blowing various gases into molten iron treated with magnesium, the form and distribution of graphite transfers from spheroidal to compacted or vermicular. The behavior of variation of graphite shape factors with magnesium fading caused by continuous gas blowing into magnesium treated molten iron were clarified. The same type of C/V graphite cast iron was obtained by gas blowing through a porous plug set in the bottom of treating ladle in practical foundry.
