摘要
Compared were the experimental and calculated time dependences of the discharge current for a gap width 0. 35 mm and voltage pulse amplitude 35 kV. These comparisons reveal fairly good agreement between the experimental and calculated values and confirm the conjecture of Trump and Van de Graaf that an exchange mechanism is involved in vacuum breakdown.
