On dust abatement in combined process of coal batch thermal preparation and coke dry quenching

New measures of dust abatement in combined process of coal batch preparation and coke dry quenching are proposed. It is established, that by coal coke mixture separation and heat exchange completion approximately 0.2-0.3% of the coal batch is carried away leading to environment contamination. It is proposed to sprinkle the coke by solution of kaolin clay with liquid glass at the exit from unloading unit. This enables formation of extremely thin high tension film on the coke surface. The efficiency of dust content decrease by this method constitutes 90.5-92.6%.
