PAM, Stationary Gaussian Processes and Capacity of Gaussian Channels.

Under the restriction of low pass spectra PAM systems operating in accordance with information theory are described. These systems use amplitude modulation of vector-valued M-dimensional pulses. After M-dimensional PA demodulation the information rate approaches the channel capacity as close as desired by a suitable choice of the dimension M.
