New cable-stayed bridge across the river Elbe in Usti

摘要：
The new cable-stayed bridge across the river Elbe in Usti has a main span of 123,3 m. The shape and inclination of the pylon (height 75 m) were designed to work without backstay cable. The realization of the project was characterized by a high level of prefabrication and a quick erection, in order to meet the tight schedule. Economy, durability and harmonious integration into the landscape were the most decisive criteria for the design and realization of the bridge.
