摘要
A Laboratory Information Management System or Laboratory Integration Management Solution (LIMS) is a software system used in laboratories for the integration of all laboratory softwares, instruments, and the management of samples, laboratory users, standards and other laboratory functions. Every LIMS list server and discussion group needs to print out a barcode by properly managing the five to 10 samples received each day. In LG LIMS, instruments are not interfaced and operating on a Microsoft Access database is not required. Modern LIMS have implemented extensive configurability as each laboratory's needs for tracking additional data points can vary widely. A user can configure a LIMS whereby users are assigned roles or groups and the role of a user will dictate their access to specific data records in the LIMS.
