摘要
Water, as elixir of life, forms diverse architecture and structures in varying climatic zones. Our history of civilization is inextricably tied to water. Water is the most flexible formal power. The infinite plurality through boundary conditions and states of aggregation is trivialized by conventional plant-construction. All possibilities of hydropower technologies should be visible, conscious and demonstrate art and culture of highest extent. The immanent energies embedded in water demand architectonical expression. Architecture is eventually social art, just as water represents an originary element of socialising. Scales of water-power plants can be distorted or differing by their spatial context, though each plant may also establish or even destroy local identities. The scale, the dramaturgy of construction elements and their surface texture require the highest sensitivity towards the site-conditions. Any of the six examples poses a singular phenomenon.
