摘要
Owing to the advantages of high sensitivity, high robustness, and low-cost detection of the computational time-domain ghost imaging (CTGI) technique, a CTGI-based wire and wireless full-duplex optical communication (OC) system is firstly proposed and experimentally verified. Compared with the previous full-duplex OC setup, the system can realize high-quality data reception using only a low-cost optical power meter that omits the need of high-speed photodetectors. Besides, the CTGI-based OC design naturally encrypts the transmission data, which ensures the security of the communication. Experimental results show that the system with a symbol rate of 4-Gbit/s can be achieved no matter whether the modulated optical signal passes through a low-light free-space link or a high-dispersion fiber link. Furthermore, a modulation method for robust optimization and a many-to-many multicast OC structure is also extended. Combining the above advantages, the proposed system may provide a promising solution to the full-duplex OC systems.
