Some of the significant aspects of drilling and blasting; which are essential components of mining; are discussed. Drilling has emerged as the most essential component of modern mining operations. Every mining company is aware that without drilling it will be unable unable to undertake mining projects. Drilling and associated equipment that are used to explore mining reserves play a key role in existing mining technology. Drilling ensures safety of workers working on mining sites; along with ensuring easier and profitable extraction of minerals. Blasting is another significant component of mining; which ensures that mining operations are undertaken in a profitable manner. Blasting involves precision planning and specific effort to locate and explore certain mining reserves. Drilling also plays a key role in mining operations; including exploration; production; or a closure of a mine;
