Neighbors-scheduling-based MAC protocol in ad hoc networks

摘要
In order to resolve the hidden terminals and exposed terminals problems and improve the ratio of channel in ad hoc networks, this paper proposd a new MAC protocol named NSBMA, in which each node modifies state values of sending and receiving for every time-fragment according to neighbors' time-scheduling and nodes reserve time-fragments based on state values. Nodes determine whether a time-fragment can be utilized to send by receiving state value or receive data by sending state value. By this way, neighbors can choose the same time-fragments to send data which makes NSBMA be able to resolve exposed terminals problems in substance. The simulation results show that NSBMA gains significant increase in throughput compared to MACA and TRAMA.
