摘要
In order to study the ignition and combustion charateristics of several boron-containing fuels with ammonium perchlorate as the oxidizer in mini-tubes, the high-speed camera and the fiber spectrometer were used, and the moving speed was calculated with high-speed image processing using the software of GRAFULA. The results show that: for boron-containing fuels, when the mass ratio of B is 1/2, combustion is sustainable, uniform and stable with the burning rate of 4.25 mm/s; when the mass ratio of B is 2/3, 3/4 and 4/5 respectively, the latter half of fuels is sprayed from tubes; when the mass ratio of B is 5/6, reaction is not continous. And with the increase of the mass ratio of B spectral intensity weakens, sustainable combustion time shortens, the moment of the most1 dramatic burning advances, and reaction intensity and stability decreases. So the difficulty of stable ignition and combustion of propellant in micro-propulsion system can be overcomed by the reasonable prescription of boron-containing fuels.
