(Ti, V)C particles reinforced iron-based composite produced in-situ

摘要
The (Ti, V)C particles reinforced iron-based composite was produced in-situ. The micro-structure and wear-resistance of the Fe-(Ti, V)C composite were studied by SEM, electron probe and XRD. The results show that spherical (Ti, V)C particles exhibit finer size and homogeneous distribution in the matrix, and under condition of dry sliding with heavy loads, Fe-(Ti, V)C composite shows great wear-resistance.
