An Experimental Study on Dehumidification Characteristics according to Operating Conditions of Liquid Desiccant System

摘要
Liquid desiccant based dehumidification system have been widely used to remove moisture from humid air. And this system has the advantage of being able to effectively remove latent heat from humid air, as well as use low grade energy sources such as solar heat and waste heat. Because of these advantages, liquid desiccant dehumidification systems have attracted increasing attention in recent years as a potential alternative to the conventional dehumidification methods. Therefore in this paper, a experimental study on the dehumidification characteristics of the dehumidification system according to the operating conditions was performed. Packing material(Celdek 7090(munter's)) of 150 mm in width, 300 mm depth and 400 mm in height was used for experiment. A correlation of main performance indexes(Q(a), (m) over dot(deh), eta(deh)) was propose by experimental study. The proposed correlation is expected to be useful in dehumidification system designs.
