摘要
An Energy-balanced routing protocol based on ant colony optimization for wireless sensor network (EAntWSN) was proposed. Choosing next hop to send data packet was based on node residual energy and updating pheromone was depended on the idea of path average energy. Computationally effective ant colony intelligence was used in the routing to find the best path from source nodes to sink node and accomplish network communication task. Simulation results indicate that the optimal ant colony algorithm saves energy consumption of nodes and prolongs the network lifetime.
