Applications of one-dimensional photonic crystal in thermophotovoltaic

摘要
The characteristics of stop-band from photonic crystal (PC) are applied to spectral control on TPV system. One-dimensional photonic crystals filter composed of Si and SiO2 is designed in order to match with GaSb cell in TPV system. The performance of spectral control from filter structure is investigated. The influences on filter from the tolerances and errors from Si layers and SiO2 layers, period of filter structure, incident angle were also presented. Spectral control efficiency of this filter structure were evaluated versus temperature of radiator.
