摘要
This paper presents the mathematical modeling of surface roughness and thermocurrent depending on cutting regimes. The factorial designs of the experiments and the regression techniques were applied for modelling the behaviour of surface roughness and thermocurrent depending of cutting parameters. There were determined three polynomial models and a statistical analysis was performed to validate them. By measuring during processing the intensity of the thermocurrent or voltage for cutting, can be anticipated the measures that should be taken for the control of surface roughness. © 2013, Editura Cefin.
